Basketball Game Preview: Epping Blue Devils vs. Mascenic Regional Vikings

The Epping Blue Devils will take on the Mascenic Regional Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Epping beats Mascenic Regional with 53 points on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Epping beat Holy Family Academy on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 53-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, Mascenic Regional was able to grind out a solid victory over Sunapee on Friday, taking the game 47-39. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Epping's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Mascenic Regional, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-8.

Epping didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mascenic Regional when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-47 victory. Will Epping repeat their success, or does Mascenic Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
