Baseball Recap: Purdue Broad Ripple Comes Up Short

If Purdue Broad Ripple was riding high fresh off their 15-8 takedown of Mooresville Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lynx lost 13-1 to the Bethesda Christian Patriots on Wednesday. The Lynx haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Purdue Broad Ripple saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Phillip Hulsey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Hulsey is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Purdue Broad Ripple's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bethesda Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Purdue Broad Ripple will welcome Union at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bethesda Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Indy Genesis HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. The Patriots are facing the Indy Genesis at the right time seeing as the Indy Genesis are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
