Volleyball Recap: Amarillo Comes Up Short

Amarillo lost against Plano West back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sandies fell 2-0 to the Wolves.

Amarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Plano West, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Amarillo and Plano West should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Sandies will take on Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (74 vs. 200). Meanwhile, Plano West (ranked 38th) will meet McKinney Boyd (ranked 191st) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
