Baseball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Gardens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Westminster Academy Lions. The contest marked the Gators' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Palm Beach Gardens saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Valencia, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Palm Beach Gardens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westminster Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Gardens will face off against Atlantic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westminster Academy, they will challenge Flanagan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westminster Academy is facing Flanagan at the right time seeing as Flanagan is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
