Mabton extended their losing streak to nine on Friday, dropping their season record down to 1-10 in the process. They lost 21-0 to the River View Panthers. Surprisingly, this marked the Vikings' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

For River View's part, Bryanna Denbow made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Denbow has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
