Softball Game Recap: Autauga Academy Generals vs. LAMP Golden Tigers

Autauga Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the LAMP Golden Tigers an 8-0 shutout on Saturday.

Lynzie Burgin was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.

LAMP is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Autauga Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-3 loss against Headland on the 15th. As for LAMP, they will take on McKenzie in a tournament on Friday.
