Baseball Game Preview: North Allegheny Tigers vs. Seneca Valley Raiders

For the second straight game, North Allegheny will face off against Seneca Valley. The Tigers will welcome the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Allegheny hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between North Allegheny and Seneca Valley, and Seneca Valley kept the tradition alive. The Tigers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-1 to the Raiders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

North Allegheny saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Pealer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Seneca Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Allegheny, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.
