It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Northeastern had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Shenandoah Raiders by a score of 48-38. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

It was another big night for Landon Scarrette, who posted 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024. Tre Vanlandingham was another key player, going 5-for-9 en route to 10 points.

Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Shenandoah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Northeastern won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northeastern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season. Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
