Basketball Game Preview: Loomis Wolves vs. Arapahoe Warriors

The Loomis Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Arapahoe Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loomis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Arapahoe likes a good challenge.

Loomis easily dispatched St. Paul two weeks ago, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Loomis fell just short of Elm Creek by a score of 72-70 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Arapahoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 42-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southern Valley.

Loomis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Arapahoe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Loomis strolled past Arapahoe in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 69-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loomis since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
