Soccer Recap: Greenbrier Comes Up Short

Greenbrier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Station Camp Bison, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Greenbrier can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Station Camp are ranked 14th).

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Station Camp, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season.

Greenbrier will host Macon County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenbrier will need to watch out since Macon County have now posted at least four goals in their last four games. As for Station Camp, they will take on Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
