Brandon Valley has won three straight games at home, while Jefferson has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Lynx will welcome the Cavaliers. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Tuesday, Brandon Valley made easy work of Mitchell and carried off a 13-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Kernels: they've now won three in a row.

Danielle Schoby was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and one double while going 4-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Briley Laber, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Meanwhile, while Jefferson put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Yankton. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Bucks/Gazelles with a sharp 15-0 win.

Jefferson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Brandon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.
