Johnson City is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Binghamton a 12-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Johnson City Wildcats will welcome the Binghamton Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Johnson City fell victim to Vestal and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Binghamton also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Union-Endicott on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Binghamton's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Johnson City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Johnson City came out on top in a nail-biter against Binghamton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
