Basketball Recap: North Hills Christian Takes a Loss

North Hills Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the Grace Academy Lions didn't end well, with the North Hills Christian Eagles falling 77-63. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in January of 2016.

Despite the loss, North Hills Christian still got an impressive performance from Maverick Ball, who dropped a double-double on 39 points and 13 rebounds. Ball's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Grace Academy found their leader in sophomore Carson Payne, who posted 36 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Buslovich, who had 19 points and seven rebounds.

North Hills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Grace Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Hills Christian will host Statesville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grace Academy, they will welcome Charlotte Lab School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.4 points per game this season.
