Soccer Recap: Academy for Academic Excellence Comes Up Short

Academy for Academic Excellence lost against Riverside Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights lost 4-1 to the Riverside Prep Silver Knights.

Academy for Academic Excellence now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Riverside Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Academy for Academic Excellence will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Riverside Prep and Chavez will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Chavez is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
