Dynamic duo of David Fonville and Chris Arias lead Providence School to victory

Recap: Providence School Stallions vs. Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks

The Providence School Stallions waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They strolled past Archbishop McCarthy with points to spare, taking the game 56-38.

Leading Providence School to victory were David Fonville and Chris Arias. Fonville scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Arias scored 17 points along with five assists and two steals. Fonville continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Joshua Stallings was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds.

Providence School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.

Providence School will be playing at home against Nease at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nease will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 175th, while Providence School is ranked 21st). Archbishop McCarthy on the road again on Tuesday and play against True North Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
