Canyon came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Perryton Rangers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-20.

Laney Jones paced Canyon's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jones got some help from Brylee McElroy and her 18 assists. Aiva Kerr controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Canyon's record now sits at 18-14. As for Perryton, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Canyon is set to challenge their familiar foe Randall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perryton will face off against rival West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
