Volleyball Recap: Hayden Tigers vs. West Grand Mustangs
Hayden was the 3-0 winner over West Grand when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hayden Tigers lost 3-0 to the West Grand Mustangs on Friday.
While Hayden was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.
Taryn Schlim paced Hayden's offense, picking up six kills. Schlim got some help from
Olivia Svoboda and her eight assists.
Hayden has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for West Grand, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Hayden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Grand has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Caprock Academy on the 2nd.
