Football Recap: Rosewood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rosewood extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 44-18 to the Hobbton Wildcats. The Eagles were down 37-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Hobbton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hobbton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amir Tate, who rushed for 134 yards and three scores. Another player making a difference was Reginald Thompson, who rushed for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

Rosewood has already played their next match, a 20-0 victory against Goldsboro on the 19th. As for Hobbton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 35-6 win against East Columbus on the 19th.
