Volleyball Recap: Tustin Takes a Loss

Tustin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Kennedy Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on April 1st.

While Tustin was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kennedy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-21.

Tustin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-24. As for Kennedy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tustin will challenge rival Godinez Fundamental at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kennedy is set to take on their familiar foe Fullerton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
