Soccer Game Preview: Lawrence County vs. Pike County Central

The Lawrence County Bulldogs will square off against the Pike County Central Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lawrence County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Greenup County get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Lawrence County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Pike County Central was forced to settle for a draw. They and Paintsville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Lawrence County pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. Pike County Central's draw makes their record 5-9-1 this season.
