Fairfield is on a three-game streak of home losses, Florin an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Fairfield Falcons will welcome the Florin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Fairfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.

Fairfield is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Johnson: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Fairfield blew Johnson out of the water with a 77-36 final score. With the Falcons ahead 36-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Fairfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Johnnie Jones led the charge by dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. What's more, Jones also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Amarre Davis was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points and four steals.

Fairfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Florin had to suffer through an 86-32 loss at the hands of Foothill. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1284th, while the Mustangs are ranked 486th).

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Florin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything came up roses for Fairfield against Florin in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 61-25 victory. Does Fairfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Florin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
