Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Waukon Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Wednesday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Waukon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will face off against West Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waukon, they will host MFL MarMac at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
