Basketball Recap: Dunbar Takes a Loss

Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Benbrook Bobcats, falling 65-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered against the Bobcats since January 28, 2020.

Dunbar's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Benbrook, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-10.

Dunbar will face off against Carter-Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benbrook, they will square off against Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Benbrook is facing Diamond Hill-Jarvis at the right time seeing as Diamond Hill-Jarvis is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
