Softball Recap: Kenwood Takes a Loss

Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dickson County Cougars, falling 20-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 21-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Dickson County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenwood will square off against Henry County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dickson County, they will face off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
