Baseball Recap: Octorara Area Comes Up Short

Octorara Area was the 1-0 winner over Cocalico when they last played one another on April 13th, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves fell 6-3 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Octorara Area saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Reed, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Garrett Beiler was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Octorara Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Cocalico, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Octorara Area will welcome Eastern Lebanon County at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Cocalico, they will challenge Solanco at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
