Basketball Recap: Three Rivers' Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Three Rivers lost against San Diego back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 69-45 to the Vaqueros. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Three Rivers lost, don't look at Corbin Zamzow. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-15 en route to 18 points and three steals. Zamzow's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Salinas, who posted four points and nine rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Three Rivers fell to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Three Rivers will be playing at home against Agua Dulce at 3:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for San Diego, they will square off against Robstown at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vaqueros will be up against the Cottonpickers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
