Basketball Recap: Forsyth Central Takes a Loss

Forsyth Central saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 61-37 to the Arlington Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Arlington to victory were Zaria Moss and Kallie Marsh. Moss went 9 of 12 on her way to 27 points along with eight boards and three steals, while Marsh almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Moss has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wirt, who posted two points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Forsyth Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-22 defeat against Lebanon on the 28th. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-44 loss against Rickards on the 28th.
