Softball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short

Shannon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the New Site Royals, falling 20-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Shannon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for New Site, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

Looking ahead, Shannon will square off against Thrasher at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Site, they will take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
