Volleyball Game Preview: Algonquin Regional Titans vs. Acton-Boxborough Revolution

The Algonquin Regional Titans will square off against the Acton-Boxborough Revolution at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Algonquin Regional has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 3rd.

On Friday, Algonquin Regional came up short against Lincoln-Sudbury and fell 3-1. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-18 in the first set.

Algonquin Regional started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Makenna Lindblom put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had ten digs and two aces. Claire Wallace also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Acton-Boxborough beat Concord-Carlisle 3-1 on Friday. The Revolution haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Acton-Boxborough's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Algonquin Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
