Volleyball Recap: Tyler Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Tyler unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Longview Lobos on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18.

Longview found their leader in sophomore Landry Tubb, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Tyler has already played their next contest (against Kilgore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Longview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lufkin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
