            Softball Recap: Weber Warriors vs. Davis Darts        
        
		
        
        
            Weber had lost seven straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-20 to make it eight. They came up short against  the Davis Darts, falling  18-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Darts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-1  back in April.
 Weber saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Morgan Dixon, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
As for Davis, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.5 runs.
On Davis' side,  Serena Roth looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Roth has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Davis got a  massive  performance out of  Chloe Peery, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  four  RBI gave  Peery a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Libby Miller, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Weber will  take on  rival Syracuse  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Davis is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Farmington  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
