Basketball Game Preview: Edison Wildcats vs. Beaver Local Beavers

The Edison Wildcats and the Beaver Local Beavers will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Edison is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 70-32 win over Wellsville. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beaver Local, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They secured a 38-33 W over United on Saturday.

Edison has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Beaver Local, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-7.

Edison didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Beaver Local when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. Will Edison repeat their success, or does Beaver Local have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
