Baseball Recap: Calloway County Comes Up Short

Calloway County lost to Crittenden County back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakers came up short against the Rockets, falling 10-4. Lakers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Rockets since Thursday.

Calloway County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Crittenden County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-17.

Looking ahead, Calloway County will host Graves County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Crittenden County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
