Soccer Game Preview: Pecatonica vs. Dixon + How To Watch

The Pecatonica Indians are taking a road trip to face off against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pecatonica's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pecatonica is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Oregon on Monday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Hawks. That's two games in a row now that Pecatonica have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dixon). They blew past Riverdale 9-0 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Dixon with their most commanding win of the season.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Dixon, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Pecatonica couldn't quite get it done against Dixon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
