After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Anthony, Farina South Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Kinlee Thompson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
