Olive Branch has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 19. They lost 5-1 to the Grenada Chargers on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Conquistadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on December 3rd.

Olive Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Grenada, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Panola at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Grenada also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Canton at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Grenada is facing Canton at the right time seeing as Canton is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
