Recap: Dinwiddie Generals vs. Colonial Heights Colonials
The Dinwiddie Generals never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against the Colonial Heights Colonials on Wednesday. They walked away with a 64-57 win over the Colonials. That's another feather in the cap for Dinwiddie, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Colonial Heights saw an underclassman step up: Cameron Hartsoe scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Hartsoe has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Freeman, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Dinwiddie's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Colonial Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Dinwiddie is on the road again on Friday and plays the Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th. As for Colonial Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Monarchs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
