Box Elder had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Woods Cross on Thursday. The Bees blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Bees haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Box Elder's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-12.

Isaac Laing paced Box Elder's offense, picking up eight kills. Laing got some help from Peter Laing and his 19 assists.

Box Elder pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Woods Cross, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Coming up, Box Elder will square off against Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woods Cross, they will take on Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
