Wyoming East has gone 8-2 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Wyoming East will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Liberty at 6:00 p.m.

Wyoming East is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell 5-0 to George Washington on Monday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They blew past Nicholas County 9-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Maddie Cox spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Katie Mullens and Allie Bowles did most of the damage at the plate: Mullens scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Bowles scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Bowles has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Scarbro, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
