Softball Recap: Pottstown Comes Up Short

Pottstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Pottsgrove Falcons. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pottstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pottsgrove, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Coming up, Pottstown will challenge Norristown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pottsgrove, they will square off against Oley Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lynx have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
