Soccer Recap: Airport Comes Up Short

Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Airport can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Gray Collegiate Academy are ranked 13th).

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

While Airport had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
