Softball Recap: Reseda Takes a Loss

Reseda lost against Sylmar back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Reseda lost 14-1 to Sylmar. The contest marked the Regents' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fuentes Thereze made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Reseda and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Sylmar, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coincidentally, Reseda and Sylmar will both be playing Grant the next time they take the field. Reseda will head out to face Grant at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while Sylmar will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
