Baseball Recap: Poplar Springs Atomics vs. Graceville Tigers
Poplar Springs had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Graceville Tigers onto the board and left with a 23-0 victory. The Atomics haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Baron Hall was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hall was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Landen Gammons was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhett Greenwood, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Poplar Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .628. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Graceville only posted an OBP of .333.
Looking ahead, Poplar Springs will take on Sneads at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Graceville, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Poplar Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
