Basketball Recap: Morse Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Medomak Valley, Morse was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over the Winslow Black Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-27 back in December of 2024.

With the victory, Morse broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7. As for Winslow, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morse will welcome Belfast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winslow, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oceanside at 6:30 p.m. Oceanside will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Winslow surely won't give up without a fight.
