After losing to Santa Gertrudis Academy the last time they met, Jones decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Jones Trojans blew past the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions 5-2 on Tuesday. Jaiden Gonzales was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Jones and bumps their season record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two contests. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
