Baseball Recap: Erath Bobcats vs. Notre Dame Pioneers
Erath hadn't done well against Notre Dame recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Bobcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Bobcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Talan Landry made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Erath got a massive performance out of Landon Lemaire, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs Lemaire has posted since back in March of 2024. Seth Leger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Erath moved to 18-12-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Notre Dame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.
