Basketball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora lost against Jasper back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dora Bulldogs were outmatched by the Jasper Vikings and fell 85-52. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Dora got some senior leadership from Chijioke Washington and Collin Abrom. Washington went 6 for 11 on his way to 13 points, while Abrom posted 14 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Washington. The team also got some help courtesy of JP Carulli, who earned seven points.

Dora now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Jasper, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Dora will challenge Cordova at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jasper, they will square off against Bibb County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
