Softball Recap: Grove City Christian Takes a Loss

Grove City Christian lost against Fisher Catholic last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish.

Karleigh Roof was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Grove City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Fisher Catholic, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grove City Christian will host Utica at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fisher Catholic, they will welcome Bishop Rosecrans at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Irish's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bishops have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
