Basketball Recap: Las Cruces Comes Up Short

The Las Cruces Bulldawgs were outmatched by the Hobbs Eagles and fell 75-24. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldawgs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Danae Pacheco was Las Cruces' leading scorer, having posted eight points. Sofia Herrera held things down on the boards with five rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Las Cruces' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Hobbs, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.
