Baseball Recap: Pentucket Regional Has No Trouble Against Amesbury

Pentucket Regional came out on top against Amesbury on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. Pentucket Regional was the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over Amesbury. Pentucket Regional hasn't had any issues with Amesbury recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ted Cloutier and Tanner Kamuda did most of the damage at the plate: Cloutier went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run, while Kamuda went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave Cloutier a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julien Powers, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Pentucket Regional's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Amesbury, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Pentucket Regional has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Newburyport on the 1st. Amesbury has also already played their next game (against Ipswich), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
